Anting Liu is the founder and Board Chair of the non-profit Teach for Taiwan (TFT).
She grew up in Taichung, Taiwan, and at 18 left for Princeton University, where she studied international and public affairs, with a focus on education policy.

Her research and teaching work took her to Ghana, Haiti, France, Cambodia and youth prisons in the US. TFT’s mission, in short, is to ensure excellent education for all through collective leadership.

Its 2-year, highly selective fellowship program has placed over 300 fellows in rural areas in Taiwan, reaching over 6000 children, as its alumni network grows rapidly in size and impact. In 2016, Liu was named one of Forbes’ “30 under 30 Asia” for her outstanding work in social entrepreneurship. In 2020 she co-founded “School 28” (Taiwan’s first organization focused on cultivating “impact talent”) and “Education Colab” (Taiwan’s first physical hub for education start-ups). She sits on multiple NGO boards and serves as an Advisor to the National Development Council. She lives in Banqiao (Taiwan) with her husband and 2 year-old daughter.
